Rapper Young Jeezy has filed legal papers denying that he owes a former friend and business associate $5 million, Hip Hop Wired reports
.The statement is a response to a lawsuit filed last year by Ellerbee Demetrius against Jeezy, claiming that he is owed profits from at least four of Jeezy’s albums.
Demetrius (who goes by “Kinky B”) says that he’s been friends with Jeezy since 1995, and that they started two record companies together, released mixtapes, and worked on building Jeezy’s career, but Jeezy denies the claims.
