According to Radar Online, Selby confirmed that he was still representing Williams just last week. However, insiders say that is no longer the case.

“Will had initially remained involved in Wendy’s care, and he is one of the few people who knows where she is, but he’s no longer working with her,” a source told The Sun.

Selby has been under fire in the wake of the Where Is Wendy Williams? documentary on Lifetime that shed light on Williams’ health condition and financial woes. Fans took to social media after watching the first two episodes of the four-part documentary with questions about the intentions of Williams’ team.

Now, insiders reveal Zanotti hasn’t worked with Williams for some time, while Selby represented the embattled TV/radio personality last week. Selby said he was still working with Wendy on Thursday, Feb. 22, two days before the first two episodes of Where Is Wendy Williams? premiered.

Williams reportedly hasn’t worked with Zanotti in over a year. The documentary showed Williams’ former publicist fly her to Los Angeles for a meeting with NBCUniversal without informing anyone.

“Shawn was in hot water after she took Wendy to Los Angeles,” the source revealed.

“The last time Shawn did any sort of work for Wendy was in May, as she still needed a publicist when she had to back out of her speaking gig at the Atlanta Women’s Expo after being hospitalized,” the insider explained. “Shawn handled that fallout from the Expo, but she’s been out of the picture ever since Wendy went into treatment this time.”

Fans accused Selby and Zanotti of enabling Williams despite her ailing health. The documentary showed Zanotti scrambling to find Williams’ vape pen and allowing her to have a drink during a lunch meeting while telling the cameras the recovering addict “knows her limits.”

Williams’ son, Kevin Hunter Jr., also expressed concern about Selby managing his mom, considering his previous role as a jeweler and not a talent manager. Producers of the documentary say they wouldn’t have filmed the ailing star had they known about her dementia diagnosis. Days before the documentary premiered, reps for Williams announced her diagnosis of primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia.
