The 14th Annual Urbanworld Film Festival wrapped up Sunday night after hosting top African American talent in the industry. Stars including Salli Richardson-Whitfield (I Am Legend; Antwone Fisher), Nia Long (Boston Legal; Big Mama’s House) Evan Ross (ATL), and Jamie Hector (Heroes; The Wire) came out to celebrate the showing of more than 70 films over a three-day event sponsored by BET and HBO.
Just coming off his latest role in the festival’s premier film Night Catches Us, alongside actors Anthony Mackie and Kerry Washington, Hector sat down with BlackEnterprise.com
to talk about the 1970s drama, his best money advice, and the foundation that helps him pursue his second passion.(Produced by Marcia Wade-Talbert, Janell Hazelwood, Shannon Lanier; Set-Up and Lighting by Lonnie C. Major; Videography by Kenneth Meeks)
