Jussie Smollett Praises Vivica A. Fox, Mona Scott-Young, and Black Women
Black Enterprise sits down with Jussie Smollett, Vivica A. Fox, and Mona Scott-Young to discuss the heartfelt intention behind their new family drama "The Lost Holliday." The film tells the story of Cassandra Marshall (Fox) a grieving mother who arrives in Los Angeles to plan the funeral of her estranged son, only to discover that the funeral arrangements are already being handled by her son's husband, Jason Holliday (Jussie Smollett)—a man and a marriage she knew nothing about. We speak with Smollet who wrote, directed, and starred in the film alongside Fox, and executive producer Scott-Young about their inspirations for taking on the project that served as a labor of love.
