Inaugural Black Enterprise Tech Connect Summit
We’re on location in Silicon Valley for the inaugural Black Enterprise Tech Connext Summit, where we’re expanding opportunities for African Americans in the tech space. Caretha Coleman, chairman of the Board at Dignity Health and principal at Coleman Consulting, is one of our first Summit Trailblazer Award honorees for her work opening doors for women and young people of color in the tech world. Then, we have a one-on-one with Jennifer Jones, vice president of Diversity Markets for AT&T. She explains why it’s important to expose college students to opportunities in the tech industry. And finally, we have a Panel Discussion to help tech entrepreneurs get the necessary skills needed to create the perfect pitch that engages potential investors. Our panelists include Carol Sands, founder and managing member of Angels Forum; Donray Von, founder of Castleberry & Co., June Riley, CEO of VC Taskforce; and Charles Hudson, partner of SoftTech VC.
