Greg Jackson Rebounds After a Spectacular Fall from a Billion-Dollar Business
Greg Jackson, CEO of Prestige Automotive, is the first African American to generate a $1 Billion — with a B — auto dealership at the height of the auto industry. But in recent years, his dealership has taken a huge hit in the market. He talks about his strategy to come back from a stump in the market and staying in business. Our special panel discussion looks at diversity among auto dealers across the country, and why the number of minority dealerships is dropping to record lows. Panelist includes Bill Perkins, President and CEO of Bill Perkins Automotive Group; Janell Ross, President of Bob Ross Buick/GMC & Mercedes-Benz; and Thomas Moorehead, owner, BMW/Mini of Sterling. We later profile Walter Douglas and his son Marc Douglas, the team behind Avis Ford. And finally, we showcase Luxury cars from this year's North American International Auto Show, featuring Porsche, Lexus, Land Rover, and a lot more.
