Filmmaker/Director Ava DuVernay marches in Selma
On this issue of Women of Power, we speak to filmmaker/director Ava Duvernay and actor David Oyelowo, the power house behind the movie "Selma." Then we hear from Lorraine Toussaint, the actress who portrays a woman who participated in the real life march. Today the woman Lorraine portrays is the oldest living person who was in the historic march. Next we talk to Vanessa Bell Calloway, who travels around the country in a one-woman show, "Letters from Zora." this is a dramatic narration of the personal letters from the legendary writer Zora Neale Hurston. And finally, we hear from actress Tracee Ellis Ross, who makes a spectacular return to primetime television in the sitcom "Black-ish."
