Dwyane Wade Scores Big with New Book

Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade is scoring big with his book “A Father First,” chronicling his life and battle gaining custody of his children. Our panel discussion recognizes the 40th Anniversary of Title 9, which created equality for women athletes. Panelist include: Wendy Hilliard, director, GoGirlGo; Joetta Clark Diggs, founder and executive director for JCD Sports Foundation, and Essence Carson, guard on the WNBA team New York Liberty. From there we profile Philadelphia community champion, Maria Battle, president of AmeriHealth Mercy Foundation, who created a program Healthy Hoops to help children and families take control of health issues like Asthma and obesity.
