All Code, No Switch: 2024 Hackathon Prepares Tomorrow’s Tech Leaders

This special edition of “Class is in Session” highlights the upcoming 9th annual BE Smart HBCU Hackathon, hosted by American Airlines and thanks to our partners Fidelity, Lowes, NASCAR and the City of Charlotte! We are back and bigger for this year's coding competition, accepting 200 students from the nation's HBCUs who are the studying computer science and computer engineering. This year's Hackathon takes place in Charlotte, N.C. from Nov. 14- 17. On this episode, we take a look back at the teams from 25 HBCUs who competed for major prizes last year, and the chance to be recruited on site for internships and jobs.
