2011 EC: Dennis Kimbro Shares the Common Thread Among Successful Business Leaders

Dr. Dennis Kimbro, author of "What Makes the Great Great" and professor at Clark Atlanta University School of Business Administration, has made it his mission to study and analyze the attributes of extraordinarily successful individuals and shares the common thread among today's business leaders. Then, we take a walk with Maggie Anderson, co-founder of The Empowerment Experience, who spent a year purchasing products from black-owned stores. From there, we throw a spotlight on the Elevator Pitch Competition held at the Black Enterprise Entrepreneurs Conference. And finally, we profile Herman J. Russell, founder and Chairman of H.J. Russell and Company, one of the largest black-owed businesses in the country. He is the Black Enterprise Business Champion Award winner.
