From a young age, I have had the pleasure of being a global citizen. By the time I graduated college, I had lived on three continents, including Africa, where I gained a first-hand appreciation for the importance of public health interventions and their profound impact on population health and well-being.
Merck has proven to be an ideal fit for advancing my personal and professional mission. Merck offers opportunities for growth that contribute to lifelong learning and enables me to make an impact in a fun, inclusive, and collaborative environment! Our global enterprise offers a wealth of exciting career opportunities across our divisions including commercial, manufacturing, and research. Driven by my passion to improve global health, I have spent the last 15 years working in the vaccines field to help prevent infectious diseases worldwide. With more than a century-old, science-driven legacy of developing and introducing medicines and vaccines that help improve and save lives,
What makes Merck special?
Indeed, it’s our world-class scientific research and development, policy, and commercialization expertise. As an organization, we focus on providing broad access to our medicines and vaccines, including in underserved areas through corporate responsibility programs like our donation program to help eliminate river blindness in developing countries across Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East. I am also proud to be part of an organization that supports a wide range of employee business resource groups that prioritize diversity, elevate equity and inclusion for women, and uplift communities of color and individuals with disabilities, among other groups.
Most importantly, I am especially proud of the rigor and responsibility that we apply to our communications with external stakeholders about the work we do—it’s yet another aspect of excellence that differentiates our unparalleled approach to improving global human health.
