Uptown Battle of the Bars Bartender Competition is Happening Now in Harlem, NY

From August 3 – 25, a “Battle of the Bars” bartender competition is going down in Harlem, New York. The four-week competition includes an impressive lineup of some of the best bartenders in Central Harlem, Bronx, East Harlem, Washington Heights, and West Harlem. Here’s how it works: Between August 3-16, bar-goers can visit participating bars, try a cocktail, find your favorite bartenders cocktail on Instagram @UptownBattle and “Like” their photos to vote.

The “best uptown bartender,” will be chosen on August 26, where Bravo TV reality star of “Blood Sweat and Heels,” Mica Hughes will judge the showdown finale featuring the top 12 bartenders. A DJ competition hosted by DJ Stormin Normin, founder of Sundae Sermon is also planned.
