UBR Morning Post: Entrepreneurial Prodigy Zoe Damacela

This week on The Urban Business Roundtable, UBR Contributor Angelique Westerfield speaks with Zoe Damacela, owner of Zoe Damacela Apparel. An entrepreneur since the age of 8, Damacela is a veteran entrepreneur at age 17 and has won local and national business competitions for young entrepreneurs. Damacela’s success as a designer and producer of women’s fashions has earned her a visit with President Barack Obama at the White House and mentorship by First Lady Michelle Obama’s designer Maria Pinto. Most recently, Damacela was named one of Chicago’s Top 40 Game Changers, UBR’s list of Windy City business achievers age 40 and under.

Also on this week’s edition of The Urban Business Roundtable, our Executive Producer TaQuoya Kennedy speaks with Business Counselor Sylvia Wynn, co-founder of SJW Enterprises, a marketing and market research consulting company, about the importance of a business plan.
