, there are four major types of social media users: Fashionista Professionals, Knights with Shiny iMacs, Web-Building Techies and last, but certainly not least, Bargain-Hunting Mamas.Developed by GetSatisfaction and Column Five, the infographic highlights the four types of consumers on social media that essentially comprise 65% of all users. Based on the statistics, the largest consumer group is the Fashionista Professional,
which makes up 26% of users.  This social media savvy sect, ages 25-34, are active on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google+ and YouTube. These “high-earning young professional women†also tap into their relationships with brands and hold immense purchasing power.As early tech adopters, the Web-Building Techies offer
real influence with their strong connections that span the web. They are the youngest and most connected of the bunch. These 21-24 year-old men stand strong at 29 million, and make up 16% of all users.
