With headliners such as Q-Tip, KRS-One, Lupe Fiasco, Brand Nubian, and Busta Rhymes, the Brooklyn Hip-Hop festival has embodied the true essence of the ’70s and ’80s counterculture that became mainstream. The Festival, held in July, draws a sizable audience and connects younger and older generations.
