On Sunday, one of the two billionaires still playing sports, Tiger Woods, announced that an injury to his foot would keep him out of the remaining Masters competition.
The champion golfer released a statement via his Twitter account to inform his followers that he would not complete this tournament.
I am disappointed to have to WD this morning due to reaggravating my plantar fasciitis. Thank you to the fans and to @TheMasters who have shown me so much love and support. Good luck to the players today!

This is the same injury that knocked Woods out of the Hero World Challenge, an unofficial event he hosts in the Bahamas, in February, according to ABC News. This current match was held at Augusta National Golf Club over the weekend.
On Saturday, the 47-year-old was reportedly seen limping as he played the first eight holes of the third round during the tournament. Before he withdrew, Woods was 6-over through his first seven holes of the third round. He was in a bad position as he was 9-over through 43 holes, making him have the lowest score among the 54 players who made the 36-hole cut, and 22 strokes behind Brooks Koepka.
In the past year, Woods has withdrawn from a major championship due to injury twice. Last May, he had to withdraw from the PGA Championship at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He also wasn’t doing well as he had the worst score at the tournament, a 9-over 79 in the third round by the time he withdrew.
Woods has recently suffered serious injuries to his right leg, foot, and ankle. Due to those injuries, he only played in three major championships last year. He finished 47th at the Masters and missed the cut at the 150th Open Championship at St. Andrews. In February, he was tied at 45th at the Genesis Invitational at the Riviera Country Club outside Los Angeles.
