‘Black Panther’ and ‘Creed III’ Stuntman Taraja Ramsess Dies In Car Accident
The Ramsess family is still trying to cope with the devastating losses.
A stuntman who worked on popular movies like Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, They Cloned Tyrone, and Creed III was killed in a car accident that also took the lives of his son and two daughters.
Taraja Ramsess died Oct. 31 in Atlanta, according to an Instagram post by the stuntman’s mother, Akili Ramsess. In the post, she said that two of his other daughters survived the crash, but his 13-year-old daughter, Sundari, and his 2-month-old daughter, Fujibo, died alongside him. At the time of the post, she stated that his son, 3-year-old Shazia, was on life support, but in a post on Nov. 5, she told the world that he died as well.
“Oh God! I can’t believe they’re gone! We are grieving and remain prayerful for my grandchildren’s recovery. Thank you to so many who have already reached out with kind words and prayers.”

WSB TV reported that the stuntman’s car hit the back of a broken-down tractor-trailer on an Atlanta highway near the Wesley Chapel Road exit.
One of Ramsess’ friends, Tony Tony Tucci, stated that he was “always a family man” and always shared his movie experiences.
“When I first heard about it, I broke down,” Tucci said. “I had to sit down. He was always a family man. They would come and sit and watch him train, and they would jump in and start training too.”
“He was always sharing his experiences, happy and glad to be part of that community. During the screening of Black Panther, he couldn’t stop talking about it. He was so happy to be a part of it.”
Other movies Ramsess worked on were Emancipation, Black Adam, and Cruel Intentions. He also appeared on the TV shows BMF, Atlanta, and All the Queen’s Men.
He is survived by his mother and one child. A GoFundMe was started to help support his mother.
