June 20. TechUP Chicago Inclusion Summit: Tech Demos, Career Growth & Cocktails. TechUp has a ‘sweet spot’ for connecting diverse tech talent inclusive of women, people of color, LGBTQ individuals, veterans, and people who live with a disability. According to TechUP, the inclusion summit intentionally recruits badass, underrepresented and strikingly talented tech professionals with a variety of skills.
 Miami Beach, FL. June 15- 19. American Black Film Festival. Beyond enjoying five days of content made by and about people of African descent, the American Black Film Festival (ABFF) presents over 30 exciting events and networking activities designed to educate, nurture career development, and inspire festival attendees. Plus, independent film screenings, master classes, panels, celebrity conversations, entertainment and talent discovery programs co-programmed with leading media companies (HBO, Comcast/NBCUniversal, and BET).
Baltimore, MD. July 3- 4. Black Enterprise The African American Festival. For the fourth of July weekend, a celebration of life, music, and culture lands in Baltimore, MD. Miami, Florida. July 20 – July 22. ColorComm Conference. If you’re a woman of color in public relations, corporate communications, journalism, advertising, social media and/or consulting, you should join some of the top power players in communications in Miami, Florida, for the ColorComm Conference. ‘Leading the Way’ is this year’s theme for the ultimate business conference for women of color in communications.
