As we wind down from the holiday season, it’s time to get ready for a new year and a new you. With just a few more days left in 2012, I’m reflecting on the year and making a list of how I can be a better me, including my wardrobe and my style. Resolutions aren’t just for weight goals, character building and professional assessment. It’s also a great time to take a look in the mirror and analyze how you want to fashionably present yourself in 2013. For me, that means evaluating my closet and clearing out the old to make room for the new and improved.
Perhaps you want to add more color to your closet. Or maybe you want to create a more polished and professional look. Whatever you decide, there’s no better time than now to rework your style and enter the new year with a new, fashion-improved you. (Shop the look here.)
As you think of how to evolve your style for 2013, consider adding emerald green to the mix. Patone, the world-renowned authority on color, has declared the radiant shade of green as the 2013 ‘Color of the Year.’ Described as vivid and powerful, “emerald green is a color of elegance and beauty that enhances our sense of well-being, balance and harmony.” With a description like that, the jewel-toned hue is sure to be a perfect compliment to your new year style. Happy New Year!
