Just a few more days before spring is upon us along with its forecast of vibrant colors and bold hues. From the warmer temperatures to the minimal layers, I’m craving everything the season has to offer. I can’t wait to retire my sweaters and tights and get back to bare legs and fun, flirty dresses.
There are so many fun and cool trends to indulge in. The hot colors of the season are bold blues, gem greens, and not-so-mellow yellows that will make you stand out in the rainbow of colors. Floral prints and patterns continue to blossom through the new season in addition to leather and lace. On trend or not, I have an addiction to printed pants, or “fancy pants” as I call them, and I’m beyond ready to dash into my collection to pair with colorful tops and toe-bearing sandals.
I’m also craving bold print and patterns on classic cut dresses that will pull double duty, working for me both in the office and after hours. For those who aren’t into bold colors or prints, simple stripes (whether horizontal or vertical) prove to be just as stylish this season— and years to come for that matter—with timeless uncomplicated pattern. Additionally,showing no signs of cooling off soon, the black and white craze is still hot in demand for the season ahead.
Ready or not, my spring cravings are too strong to wait for March 20 (the official start of spring). I’ve already started retiring the darker colors of my closet and even pulled out the peep toes. Yep, I’m already there.
