High School Students Wear KKK Robes at Hockey Game

Three students are being investigated in North Dakota for donning Ku Klux Klan robes at a hockey game.

In a picture taken by another spectator, three Red River High School students donned white-hood garbs–reminiscent to the uniform worn by the KKK–while seated during the outdoor game.

The students reportedly

wore the get-ups for 10-20 minutes until they were forced to remove them by other students who found it distasteful. The school’s principal, Kristopher Arason, said the students’ parents were contacted and that, “appropriate action is being taken.”

“We, as a school, are extremely disappointed with the behavior of these three students. This behavior is not a representation of our school or student body,” the principal said in a statement.
