State of New Jersey Has a Startling 25% Poverty Rate


A study conducted by the Legal Services of New Jersey Poverty Research Institute shows that at least 25% of New Jersey residents are living in poverty.

The study shows that since the economic crisis began, about 300,000 more people are struggling to make ends meet.

The study also shows that although there are a significant amount of people living in poverty the state also has a decent moment of wealthy people living there. According to CNBC, New Jersey was the third state with the largest amount of millionaires.
