Davis also plans to maximize BranCore’s placement on the federal government’s Central Contractor Registration database, through which vendors pre-negotiate rates for services.
“President Bush says more agencies are using small businesses that are under contract with the government, and we’re one of them,” says Davis. “We’ll be out there marketing ourselves to those agencies, which in turn look through that Website for resources.”
The company was a finalist for the Greater Richmond Technology Counsel’s IBM Leadership Award in 2003 and 2004 and is also a finalist for the 2004 Ernst & Young Emerging Company Award.
