Soledad O’Brien, Desiree Rogers and India Arie Set to Speak at Dream Project Symposium

The Dream Project Symposium, now in its third year, is an interactive experience that takes place in Atlanta April 16-17 at the Georgia World Congress Center. The Symposium aims to help entrepreneurs, business professionals and creatives to take their business goals to the next level.

This year they have a dynamic lineup of speakers including Soledad O’brien, Desiree Rogers, India Arie, Estelle, Chef Roble, Black Enterprise SVP and Executive Editor-at-Large Alfred Edmond Jr., and more. In addition to focusing on traditional business tracks, they have added creative business tracks to include: the Business of Music and Entertainment, the Business

of Fashion and Style, and the Business of Film and Television. The symposium hopes to attract beyond the typical business owner, but those that are striving to build businesses that align with their lifestyle and passions.

The winner of the Symposium’s pitch competition will secure a space in Black Enterprise’s Elevator Pitch Competition at the Entrepreneurs Summit in Atlanta being held May 13-16. That competition has a grand prize of $10,000. “We are very excited to have that partner with Black Enterprise who also share our mission and vision.” Warner says.

The event will also provide more relevant and

helpful content to entrepreneurs, and networking breaks to facilitate partnerships between business owners, their community, and peers. Organizers have established partnerships with Delta Airlines, Prudential Financial, Verizon Wireless, and Samsung, to name a few.
