National Women’s Business Council Meeting Continues to Promote Women’s Entrepreneurship
On March 26th, the National Women’s Business Council (NWBC) will hold its quarterly public meeting to give insights on its efforts in advancing the women’s entrepreneurship agenda.
Most recently the NWBC released its annual report which lays the groundwork for policy makers, the private sector, and the women’s business community to act strategically towards advancing women entrepreneurs.
One of NWBC’s main areas of focus is increasing opportunities for women entrepreneurs in high-growth sectors. Today’s STEM high-growth sector is ripe for entry of women entrepreneurs.
Special guest speaker Divya Nag, co-founder of Stem Cell Theranostics, will share her inspiring story about her path to becoming one of STEM’s youngest women entrepreneurs and give insights on what Forbes describes her impact as “attacking one of medicine’s biggest problems.”
The National Women’s Business Council’s public meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 26th from 12:00-2:00pm at the Small Business Administration, 409 3rd Street, S.W. Washington, DC . Seating is limited, RSVP required.
Please email Taylor.Barnes@nwbc.gov to RSVP by March 19th.
