Although the iPad is well-equipped for typing on the go, there are times when a standard keyboard would be better suited for extended journaling or proposal writing while stuck on a layover. Rather than lugging around a laptop as well or fiddling with the onscreen interface, Hatch & Co. recently released their Skinny Case for iPad 2, which doubles as a case and keyboard without creating any bulk.
Living up to its name, the Skinny is only 0.6 inches thick and encases an iPad 2 just like any other protective case except this one comes with a dust and waterproof keyboard. Connected via Bluetooth, the multi-functional keyboard also works as a stand and has a 68-hour battery life. Available in either black or white, the Skinny retails for $90.
