Uptown Magazine sat down with the singer to talk about her transition as a musician, overcoming self-doubt, and her new album The Truth. She also spoke about her recent performance at Black Girls Rock. Ledisi comments on the surprising reaction she got from fans when she stepped on stage with stilettos on.
