Shots were fired during a Mother’s Day parade in New Orleans this afternoon injuring 18 people, USA Today reports.
The wounded included 10 men, six women, a boy and a girl. The children were both 10 years old. There have been no fatalities reported.
The shots were fired into a crowd of about 200 people around 2 p.m. in the area of North Villere and Frenchmen Streets during a “second-line parade.”
