“I’m female and black and selling a very ‘different’ product that brings positive content and diversity into the marketplace,” says Beauchamp, who recently scheduled meetings with one of the more resistant console makers.
Beauchamp expects to hire 25 new employees this year. Also under development are several nonsports-related products that target the urban market. “Our goal is to continue infusing the video game and publishing industry with positive content related to the urban lifestyle,” she says.
