Retired NBA player Scottie Pippen voluntarily
visited a sheriff’s station after he was named as a suspect Sunday in a physical altercation at Nobu, a Malibu beachside restaurant.A fight broke out at the restaurant when a man seeking an autograph took photos of Pippen, and his family. Several witnesses described the fan as intoxicated, sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore told the NY Daily News.
One source said the fan started the fight, spit on Pippen and screamed the N-word while Pippen was holding his 4-year-old daughter.
Police are still investigating. Pippen was released after an hour of questioning.
