TheStreet.com recently published a story where they list various resources they feel are beneficial for black owned businesses to succeed.
In the article, writer Laurie Kulikowski states that minority owned small businesses are a big part of the engine that are small businesses driving the U.S. economy.
The number of black-owned businesses rose a noteworthy 60.5% to 1.9 million from 2002 to 2007, more than triple the 18% rate for businesses established nationally, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s Survey of Business Owners.
