President Trump Claims The FBI And Justice Department Helped Rig Election

President Trump, seeing his time in the White House running out, continued to spout baseless claims of election fraud, including that federal agencies helped Joe Biden.

In his first interview since Biden was projected the winner of the 2020 Presidential Election, Trump was a guest on Fox News Sunday where and repeated his claims to Maria Bartiromo.

“This is total fraud,” Trump told Bartiromo, according to Forbes. “And how the FBI and Department of Justice—I don’t know—maybe they’re involved, but how people are getting away with this stuff—it’s unbelievable.”

The outgoing president offered no evidence to prove his claims, instead complaining that the two agencies had been “missing in action” in investigating his voter fraud claims.

Trump put FBI Director Christopher Wray in the position in 2017 and Krebs in charge of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security agency in 2018. Trump also nominated Attorney General William Barr, who runs the DOJ, in late 2018.

On Sunday night, Chris Krebs, the former Director of the U.S. Cyber Agency was interviewed on 60 Minutes

and ensured Americans the election was secure.

“I have confidence in the security of this election because I know the work that we’ve done for four years in support of our state and local partners,” Krebs said. “I know the work that the intelligence community has done, the Department of Defense has done, that the FBI has done, that my team has done. I know that these systems are more secure. I know based on what we have seen that any attacks on the election were not successful.”

Since Biden was projected to be the next U.S. President, Trump has filed more than 30 election lawsuits in battleground states, including Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania — most of which have either been thrown out or dismissed, including by judges Trump appointed.

Trump also said that it’s unlikely any of his lawsuits reach the Supreme Court, something he is not happy about.

Supreme Court advocates, lawyers, that want to argue the case if it gets there. They said, ‘It’s very hard to get a case up there,’” Trump told Bartiromo. “Can you imagine, Donald Trump, president of the United States, files a case, and I probably can’t get a case.”

Trump said for the first time Thursday he will leave the White House if the Electoral College votes for Biden. Electors are set to cast their ballots on Dec. 14.
