Just after announcing he was going to make himself eligible for the NFL Draft, Jadeveon Clowney made a move fewer probably saw coming.
According to Inside the League’s Neil Stratton, Clowney has hired Hattiesburg, Miss.-based BC Sports, which famously repped Brett Favre during the course of his playing career and post-retirement. Bus Cook also represents Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton.
It’s news because Clowney, a highly-touted defensive end, is expected to be a first-round draft pick, but also because it was widely rumored that Clowney was going to sign with Jay Z’s Roc Nation Sports.
It’s not clear whether those talks fell apart, or if they even had an ounce of credibility to them.
