The Senate has unanimously confirmed Sri Srinivasan, a key Obama nominee, to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals.
Srinivasan unanimously passed the Senate Judiciary Committee last week, and there was some talk of postponing the vote in the Senate until after June 4, but that idea was abandoned.
Srinivasan is currently the administration’s principal deputy solicitor general. There’s been talk of him as a potential Supreme Court nominee.
