Business Owners Disapprove of Obama’s Performance in New Poll

According to a new poll conducted by Gallup, business owners disapprove of President Obama’s job performance in office.

Business owners have become one of the occupational groups with negative views about the Obama presidency. Only 35 percent of business owners say they approve of the job the president has done. 59 percent of business owners across the country disapprove of his job performance.

The 35 percent number is down six percentage points from the first quarter of 2012.

Farming, fishing and forestry workers were the least impressed by Obama, with only 34 percent approving of him. Professional workers were the most impressed at a rate of 52 percent.

The poll shows that the overall decline for Obama’s job performance came between the months of March and April.
