The 16th annual Creating Opportunity Conference in Atlanta, featuring the Push Tech 2020 Think Tank competition will feature Hillary Clinton as a keynote speaker. The summit, put together by Rev. Jesse Jackson and his PUSH Rainbow Coalition, focuses on diversity, innovation, and inclusion in the tech industry.

Secretary Clinton will speak at the “Creating Opportunity Ministers Luncheon” portion of the event on Oct. 30.
The three-day event features a lineup of political, business, entertainment and spiritual leaders. Among the panels and discussions will be the PUSH Tech Think Tank which will focus on ways to use technological solutions to solve everyday problems; advise attendees how to use to tech to build durable brands, and to build scalable companies.
The conference will also cover other tech-related issues such as cloud computing security, online solutions for economic stability, how technology produces competition in financial markets and more.
The conference will also hold the PUSH Tech 2020 Think Tank Pitch Competition in which young tech innovators compete for thousands of dollars in prize money and for the attention of startup investors. The pitch competition will be held Oct. 29 at Morehouse College. Judges include Dr. Merrick Furst, CEO, Flashpoint at Georgia Tech and Michael D. Robinson, vice president, U.S. Health & Life Sciences, Microsoft.
At the last PUSH Tech 2020 Pitch Competition held in May, first prize was awarded to eharvesthub, a startup that helps small farmers increase profit by connecting them directly with retailers and truckers. The startup won $10,000 via Salesforce Ventures, an HP laptop, and investor meetings with Marlon Nichols of Intel Capital and Manny Fernandez of DreamFunded
Rev. Jesse Jackson will also give an analysis of what it takes to create opportunity in the 21st century.
