Now that the lazy days of summer are soon coming to an end, you might be thinking more about how you’re going to pay for school.
Luckily, The National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) has created an interactive map, to help students locate state funding options.
In addition, NASFAA has a state and regional tuition discount program directory. NASFAAA notes that many states have regional tuition discount programs that enable residents to attend college in another state without having to pay out-of-state tuition.
NASFAA also recommends that students look into higher education grants or scholarship programs that might be offered by your state of residence. Says NASFAA, “Eligibility is usually restricted to state residents attending a college in-state, but that’s not always the case. There are annual deadlines for most programs.â€
