More People of Color Identifying as LGBT

In a special report from Gallup, the polling firm found that a little more than 3 percent of Americans identify as lesbian,

gay, bisexual or transgender. But the study also found that people who were nonwhite were more likely to identify as LGBT: 4.6 percent of blacks, 4.0 of Latinos and 4.3 percent of Asians. About 3.2 percent of whites identified themselves as such. Women were more likely to identify as such than men were.
