Houser, a Hillary Clinton delegate from New Haven, CT, who on the plane in from New York candidly admitted about Michelle Obama, “I just don’t like her,” then patiently listened to my opposing point of view, came running up to me afterward and gushed: “You were so right. She’s amazing. I’m in!”
But the naysayers, the closed minded, the cynical will still have their say as well. And that’s okay. Michelle Obama will still be exactly who she is: a formidable, compassionate, accomplished woman, and very possibly the next first lady of the United States, my home.
