Herve Leger by Max Azria
This one is definitely Sharon Stone a la Basic Instinct. I love the powerful nature of the color, cut, and lines of this dress. I think if worn with a black camisole or collared shirt underneath, it could definitely be a winner for a power lunch or dinner.
DKNY
I’m a little biased on this one because one of my favorite designers is Donna Karan. And I have always loved charcoal and green. I think it’s a great combination that is not too over-the-top but gives a fall or winter look an extra bit of spunk. I also love the crisscross waistline and V-neck of this dress, which can be very flattering when paired with a blouse, tee, or cardigan (or a layering of all three!)
Diane Von Furstenberg
This designer, who I love primarily for her signature wrap dresses, really hit the jackpot for me with this dress. The geometric patterns of this shift are phenomenal, and it’s in the best colors: black and white. You can do so much with this piece, such as add a wide (or skinny) belt, a cardigan, a blazer in a jewel-toned hue, or simply wear it alone. This piece seems to transcend office atmospheres and seasons.
