Melissa Harris-Perry was featured in an advertisement for MSNBC’s “Lean Forward†campaign. In the 30-second commercial, she shares her thoughts on why caring for children is not just a job for parents but also the broader community.
But her “it takes a village” approach to child rearing has sparked some criticism from, among others Sarah Palin, who called the ad “un-flipping-believable.â€
