Celebrity hair stylist Johnny Wright, of Chicago, takes his job very seriously and even if you are unfamiliar with him, you most likely know the silhouette of his work as he is stylist to Michelle Obama.
Wright sat down with the Root to talk about what it’s like styling the First Lady and how he came up with a couple of her signature looks, including her beloved bob cut.
Wright explains the difference in primping your everyday celebrity versus the time it takes to develop and maintain the style icon that is FLOTUS all while maintaining his confidence, growing his professional brand and keeping Mrs. Obama forever trendy.
