Last month University of Texas celebrated track coach Beverly Kearney, who stands as one of the most decorated coaches across all of collegiate athletics, held her fifth annual Minority Mentorship Symposium in Austin Texas. Black Enterprise‘s own Tennille M. Robinson was in attendance to document the event, which included individuals from the fields of sports, entertainment, corporate, political and academia. While there, we caught up with recording artist and narrator Lana “MC Lyte†Moorer and her mother, Constance, who shared their thoughts on the importance of mentorship.
