The successful entrepreneurial Hip-Hop executive announced the partnership on his Instagram

account.

“Master P, Romeo And Rouses Create Convenient Grocery Store For Disabled Seniors At Guste Homes

The Miller Family have been helping the elderly at Guste Homes for over 21 years. I says, “It’s a blessing

to have Rouses partner up with us and put fresh produce and foods into our grocery stores in the Senior Facility at Guste Homes.” Guste Homes is an elderly facility where many disabled
seniors reside, they are located in a food desert where access to food is difficult. We stronger together #Godisgood @rousesmarkets @romeomiller

Guste Homes Senior Facility on Simon Bolivar Avenue will benefit from “Guste Grocery.” The public housing development houses more than 400 elderly, disabled, and low-income residents call. Soon, the residents can get groceries at Guste Grocery without having to leave the building.

The opening of the store had some controversy surrounding it as the owner of Rouse Market, Donald Rouse Sr. attended the Pro-Trump rally on January 6 and led locals to call to boycott the supermarket chain. His son spoke about the situation.

“I wasn’t involved in the controversy. That’s something my dad did on his personal time. It doesn’t involve Rouses supermarkets. We’re a good company we have over 7,000 great employees. We serve thousands of customers every day, so we’re here for communities like we’ve always been. We’re going to continue to grow with our communities,” said Donny Rouse.
