Is this a sign that Malia Obama is headed to Hollywood?
According to The Wrap, the elder of President Obama’s daughters, was spotted working as a production assistant on the set of Halle Berry’s upcoming sci-fi series “Extant.”
“She helped with computer shop alignments and the director also let her slate a take,” says an insider.
The teen, who turns 16 on July 4, was said to be on set laughing and excited about her gig saying, “My first time. This is a big deal.â€
No statements have been released from the Obama camp in regard to the first daughter’s latest job, but the president did tell People Magazine in 2012 that she had expressed some interest in filmmaking.
Kudos to the young Obama who seems to be getting a head start with exploring her career options.
