Can you afford to have lunch with Warren Buffet?
Someone who plopped down $1,000,100 on eBay certainly can.
An anonymous winner of an auctioned lunch with Buffet will make it nearly $15 million that’s been raised since 2000 for the Bay Area charity GLIDE, which runs anti-poverty and educational programs. GLIDE also serves 1 million meals per year.
“We never know, from year to year, how much we’re going to raise,” Rev. Cecil Williams told CNN Money. “Whatever comes through, we see it as a gift that is needed and that is shared.”
So where does lunch with a millionaire investment mogul take place?
New York’s Smith & Wollensky.
