Kevin Durant Claims ‘Best Shooter’ Title At NBA 2K15 ‘Uncensored’ Event
Last night (Aug. 19), Black Enterprise was in the building for a special occasion. Members of Team USA and NBA MVP Kevin Durant were on hand for NBA 2K15 Uncensored – a free-flowing conversation moderated by TNT’s Ernie Johnson.
Taking place at New York City’s Baruch College of the Performing Arts, James Harden, Stephen Curry, and Anthony Davis represented the top stars of Team USA for a discussion about the NBA, pop culture and, of course, the upcoming “NBA 2K15” video game from 2K Sports.
For those who don’t know, the “NBA 2K” series has become the biggest selling, most anticipated basketball simulation in the gaming industry. The past 10 years have found everyone from certified Hall of Famers such as Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, and Larry Bird to new school superstars like LeBron James and Kevin Durant gracing the cover to raucous applause.
Last year’s effort, “NBA 2K14,” earned 70 Game of the Year Award nods, and clearly decimated Electronic Arts’Â “NBA Live ’14” as the ultimate basketball simulation experience. With the next installment doubling-down on life-like graphics and ultra-realistic NBA gameplay, this is a title that real gamers shouldn’t miss.
At the “NBA 2K15” Uncensored event, Ernie Johnson conversed with four of the league’s biggest personalities. They covered a myriad of topics, but there were quite a few highlights, which you can see for yourself on the following pages.
