Kevin Clash’s departure from Sesame Street after allegations that he had sexual relationships with underage boys has left his co-workers and castmates on the beloved children’s show trying to cope with his absence, according to the New York Times.
Clash, who was the puppeteer and voice of Elmo and other characters, was also the show’s Muppet leader. He resigned last week.
Production of the final episodes
of the 2013-14 season of “Sesame Street†went on a two-week break last week, a planned hiatus that provided a bit of respite for the show’s cast and producers.
