A source confirmed that Jackson, an actor and fitness instructor, has “moved on” from Palmer and is focused on his career and co-parenting their son, Leodis Andrellton, People reports.

“You don’t have to be in the same household to be good parents,” the insider added.

Jackson faced backlash last month when he publicly criticized Palmer on Twitter for the sheer dress she wore to Usher’s Las Vegas residency. When a viral video showed Usher serenading Palmer, Jackson spoke out.

“It’s the outfit tho.. you a mom,” he tweeted in response to the exchange.

“We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is,” he wrote in a separate tweet.

Jackson went on to delete his Twitter

account after coming under fire from fans and critics. The pair has not been spotted together since the incident. Palmer has seemingly hinted at a split in her live performances and a TikTok dance video she posted shortly after Jackson’s Twitter rant.

On Wednesday, August 16, Usher and Palmer unveiled their collaboration in his new music video, “Boyfriend.”

“Somebody said that your boyfriend’s looking for me/Oh that’s cool,” Usher sings on the track.

Earlier this month, Usher spoke about the ordeal, saying it was “a pop moment” that was “worth talking about.”

“I think everybody’s vision or a version of what they felt happened there just leads you back to just really having a good time in Las Vegas And that’s what I hope came out of it,” he said.

“Rather, it was a conversation of what was going on with us having fun in front of the audience or conversation about that song.”

He added, “Every night I’m thinking about how the world now is going to react to this moment that I’ll have with whoever I’m choosing to sing to. But it was a pop moment, and it was fun to have at least conversation going and we just keep it light. I don’t see anything negative happening in Las Vegas.”
