Kanye West has reportedly been sued by music label TufAmerica, which claims that the rapper illegally sampled portions of a 1969 song by jazz pianist Eddie Bo.
The label claims that the song, “Hook and Sling, Part I“–which the label says it bought the rights to 15 years ago–was used on West’s No. 1 2010 album, “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.” Bo’s jazz hit was reportedly used in two tracks from West’s album, as well as in one of the Grammy-award winner’s music videos.
